Identity and business verification with Sumsub
Apex Tech’s integration services may connect clients to Sumsub for identity (KYC) and business (KYB) verification. Browsing this website or sending an inquiry does not initiate verification. Checks take place through a dedicated flow for the relevant service and are subject to the requesting business’s terms and privacy notice.
We configure and support a client’s own Sumsub account. The client maintains its relationship with Sumsub and authorizes any access needed for our setup, integration and technical support work. Fees for our technical services are set out in the client agreement or order.
We may also request KYB on prospective or existing Apex Tech business clients to confirm the business and its representatives and manage fraud risk, using our own Sumsub account. In those cases, Apex Tech is the requesting business and handles questions about the check and our decision. Any requirements are communicated before verification begins.
If you participate in verification, provide accurate, current information and genuine documents that you are entitled to submit. Act only for yourself or a business you are authorized to represent. Do not impersonate another person, manipulate verification evidence, or bypass security checks. Additional information, a repeat submission or further review may be needed; incomplete or unsuccessful checks may delay or prevent access to the requesting business’s service.
Verification may involve identity documents, company records, selfies, video and facial biometrics, depending on the checks selected. Our Privacy Policy and the notices shown before verification explain this processing. You must have an opportunity to review the applicable Sumsub Notice of Personal Data Processing and, where applicable, the Sumsub Biometrics Processing Consent (U.S. Residents). Acceptance of these website terms does not replace the separate acknowledgment or consent required before verification data is sent.
Client engagements must establish responsibility for selecting checks, lawful processing, applicant notices and consent, retention, data transfers, security and rights requests. Clients must be entitled to provide information about applicants and business representatives. Sumsub’s notices do not replace a client’s own privacy obligations.
The business requesting verification remains responsible for its onboarding decisions and applicable regulatory duties. A verification result does not guarantee eligibility, eliminate fraud risk, or certify legal compliance. Contact that business to question a result or request an available review. Apex Tech does not promise approval by Sumsub or any regulator.
